UVC Trolley

AGIS MEDICAL SUPPLIES started exploring UVC products for hospitals projects in Singapore, researching on how to disinfect radiology aids with Healthcare professionals in the hospitals.

During the R&D phase, more products were tested, verified using precision equipment such as DeltaOhm UVC photosensors for UVC intensity and effectiveness etc.

There are many “fakes” products marketed which claimed disinfecting or sterilised against viruses, bacteria and Covid-19. Some products mentioned ability to disinfect in milli-seconds. UVC intensity and efficacy depends largely on time taken and distance away from the lamps.

In order to destroy the DNA of the viruses, minimum UVC rays intensity must be 222 nm to 280 nm.

Time required to disinfect a room of 30m2 square area – One arm UVC trolley achieves 3-log disinfection within 30 minutes.

AGIS KL35 standalone UVC lamp can be used to disinfect hotel rooms, classrooms etc. Set the timer to 1 hr, and leave the room for the UVC germicidal irradiation system to disinfect the “OPEN” surface.
