How to caculate UVC dosage

It is useful to determine the UVC dosage of the UVC lamp used to disinfect surfaces.

To accurately measure the UVC, a UVC tester will need to display the intensity reading measured in microwatts per cm2. The UVC tester will need to place at the same distance away from the UVC source with the products that are to be sanitize.

UVC Dose = UVC intensity (microW/cm2) X Exposure Time (seconds)

Exposure time is the time taken when the UVC lamp is ON and delivering the UVC on the surface. Start measure 20 to 30 seconds later as UVC lamp may need to warm up.
