Disinfectants such as Klorsept, Klorkleen etc are produced in tablets form pack in tubs of 100 tablets, 150 tablets, 600 tablets (equivalent to 100 bottles, 150 bottles or 600 bottles of disinfectants. This reduced the number of bottles or plastic containers, storage space required to keep disinfectants.
Klin 365 – washing detergents are available in sachets form which can be diluted into 5 litres – 20 litres containers etc. Reuse and reduce plastic containers required for storing washing and santising detergents.
A new lease of life for our plastic packaging
Recovering and recycling plastic packaging is a prerequisite for a circular economy strategy, and both consumers and the authorities have particularly high expectations in this area. Kersia intends to transform this societal demand into a real business model.
Upstream, purchasing packaging materials that include a percentage of recycled plastic is encouraged. Downstream, we are making daily progress on the recovery, reuse and recycling of plastic containers, mainly for agri-food and agricultural activities. These initiatives both save on the purchase of new packaging, but also reduce the amount of packaging to be destroyed.
Waste Recycling
All paper packaging used, are collected by license waste contractor and recycled. Carton boxes are recycled for future use.
Agis encouraged the use of Recycled tonners used for printing invoices which are cheaper and environmentally friendly. There is NO NEED to purchase expensive Branded toners from printers manufacturers.
Employees are encouraged to recycle paper, thin paper for invoicing purposes.
Efforts are being made to promote paperless delivery orders, invoices using Tablets etc to reduce paper and improve efficiency.
2.0 INNOVATION TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Kersia-Medentech-Kalinisan factories manufactures Klorsept, Klorkleen and Kalinisan products which follow the best practices in reducing carbon footprint.
Servicing initiative: We develop connected dispensing systems for laundry and warewash operation, which allow remoted maintenance and significantly reduce travel CO2 emissions. The systems enable to track the consumption and help reducing clients operating cost.
3.0 PROMOTE NEW BEHAVIOURS TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Water, a resource to be preserved
Water is essential for life and for human health. Two of the major challenges for the 21st century are to provide drinking water for 7 billion human beings and reduce chemical and bacteriological pollution of the world’s water.
Kersia offers water disinfection solutions such as AQUATABS® tablets.https://disinfectant.sg/aquatabs-2/
Upstream, we provide cleaning and disinfection solutions that limit water withdrawals in the agricultural and agri-food sectors, such as leave-on, residue-free and single-phase products.
From farm to fork factories, Kersia implement water-saving processes (optimised washing processes), as well as reusing water in the manufacturing of our products, like in Dinard where we have our own water treatment centre.
4.0 SOCIAL IMPACT: HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELL BEING
At AGIS, there is no room for compromise on Health, Safety and Well-being, either for our staff or our partners.
We take a multi-pronged approach to ensure the well-being of all, offering initiatives such as the quality of life at work program, support with change, safety and management training, opening up capital for all, awareness raising and many others.
Employees are encouraged to take courses, diplomas or degrees to upgrade and continuous learning to improve their knowledge, employability with relevant skills for future economy.
