All chemical cleaning agents and disinfectants should be appropriately labeled and stored in a manner that minimise the risk of contamination, inhalation, skin contact and out of reach of children.
MSDS (Materials Safety Data Sheet) for each disinfectants are to be readily available in case of accidents.
Always use a clean, dry, bottles or containers, label the products and date it. The product should be discarded appropriately when past the expiry date for stability.
Institutions should have a system to train, educate cleaners, and determine the frequency of cleaning and periodically conduct audits to assure compliance.
